The Short Version
Simple Offline apps do not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data whatsoever.
Your information stays on your device and never leaves it. We have no servers, no databases, no analytics, and no way to access your data even if we wanted to.
What We Don't Collect
To be crystal clear, here's what we do NOT collect:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Financial data (bank accounts, transactions, budgets, expenses)
- Device information (device ID, hardware info, OS version)
- Usage analytics (how you use the app, what features you click)
- Location data (GPS, IP address, or any location information)
- Advertising identifiers or tracking cookies
- Crash reports or diagnostic data
- Any data at all — seriously, nothing
How Our Apps Work
All Simple Offline apps are designed to be 100% offline and private:
- All data is stored locally on your device only
- Our apps require no internet connection to function
- No account creation or login required
- No cloud sync or backup to external servers
- No third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking code
- No advertisements
Export/Import Feature
Some of our apps include an optional JSON export/import feature. This feature:
- Saves data locally to your device's storage
- Does not transmit data to any server or external service
- Gives you complete control over your backup files
- Allows you to transfer data between devices manually
You are solely responsible for any exported files and where you choose to store or share them.
PIN Code Security
The optional PIN lock feature (where available):
- Stores your PIN locally on your device only
- Is never transmitted anywhere
- Protects your app data from unauthorized access on your device
No External Connections
Unlike many apps, Simple Offline apps:
- Never ask for login credentials to external services
- Do not connect to any third-party services
- Do not sync with any external platforms
- Keep your data completely isolated and private
Children's Privacy
Since we collect no data from anyone, we also collect no data from children. Our apps are safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this privacy policy (which would be unlikely since we can't collect less than zero data), we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Our commitment to privacy is fundamental to our apps' design and cannot change without completely rebuilding the applications.
