01. Publisher and trader information

Simple E-ink CAD (also listed as Simple E-INK 3D CAD Modeler) is published by Blue Mongoose River under the Simple Offline brand. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Blue Mongoose River; “you” refers to the person using the app.

We offer this app commercially and act as a trader when supplying it to consumers, including consumers in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom. Trader status means that applicable consumer protection rights apply to the transaction.

For questions, complaints, or claims, contact support@aetherhook.com. Additional seller identity and contact disclosures are provided in the relevant app store’s developer or trader information. See the Google Play listing.

02. What the app provides

A lightweight 3D modeling workspace designed for e-ink screens. A clear, high-contrast interface keeps the focus on your model.

The app is supplied as downloadable software for the supported devices and operating systems shown in its store listing. Check compatibility, available features, and any stated technical requirements before purchase. A connection is required for store purchases, downloads, updates, and any store-managed verification; the app’s core functions operate offline.

The app provides 3D modeling tools for compatible Android devices, with an interface designed for e-ink screens. It is not a certified structural, engineering, or manufacturing system. Verify model geometry, dimensions, tolerances, and exported results before fabrication or other critical use. E-ink refresh behavior and performance depend on the device. This does not reduce your rights if supported features do not work as described.

03. Purchases and app store terms

The app uses a one-time purchase model. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, advertisements, or app accounts. The price, currency, taxes, and payment conditions shown by your app store at checkout apply.

The app store processes payment and supplies the download under its applicable terms. Receipts, re-downloads, family sharing, purchase verification, and device eligibility are handled according to those terms. A purchase on one platform does not automatically include a license on another platform. The store’s role in a transaction depends on its terms and your region.

04. License and permitted use

Subject to the applicable store license and these terms, you may use the app on compatible devices you own or control, including for your lawful personal or work activities. The app’s software and branding remain the property of their respective owners. Your own models, records, calculations, and other content remain yours.

Do not unlawfully redistribute the app, sell unauthorized copies, remove ownership notices, or use it to infringe others’ rights. Restrictions do not prevent acts permitted by mandatory law, including applicable interoperability, accessibility, or reverse-engineering exceptions, or rights under third-party open-source licenses.

05. Privacy, local data, and backups

The app does not collect or transmit your app data to us and contains no developer-operated analytics or tracking. It does not require an app account. Read the privacy policy for details.

Your files and settings are stored or processed locally. You choose whether to export or share them. Device-level backups, cloud-backed file locations, and operating-system features are controlled by you and their providers; they are not a cloud service operated by us.

Keep copies of important files and use available export or backup features before uninstalling, resetting, or changing devices. We cannot recover local data that we never received. This does not exclude any responsibility or remedy that applicable law requires.

06. Support and updates

For technical help, email support@aetherhook.com with the app name, version, operating system, and a description of the problem. Share only information needed to explain the issue.

Updates are delivered through the relevant app store. We will provide updates and remedies required by applicable law, including updates needed to keep the app in conformity for the period required by law. Install relevant updates according to the instructions provided.

A one-time purchase does not promise every future feature, a separate future product, or compatibility with every future device. These terms do not reduce statutory update or support obligations.

07. Cancellation, refunds, and faulty software

For a refund, you can use the purchase store’s refund process or contact us for assistance. Store procedures and voluntary refund policies apply in addition to your statutory rights; they do not replace or limit those rights.

EEA and UK consumers: where a statutory withdrawal or cancellation right applies to a digital-content purchase, it generally lasts 14 days from the contract being made. For immediate downloads, that right may be lost only when the applicable legal conditions are met, including your prior express consent to immediate supply, acknowledgment of the loss of that right, and the required confirmation. Merely reading these terms or using the app does not itself supply that consent or acknowledgment.

If you have a right to cancel, you may notify us by a clear email stating the app, purchase date, order reference if available, and your decision to cancel. A particular form is not required.

If digital content is faulty, not as described, or otherwise fails applicable conformity requirements, you retain the remedies provided by law. Depending on the circumstances, these may include correction or repair without charge, a price reduction, or termination and a refund. We do not impose a blanket “no refunds” policy. If a valid refund ends your license, stop using that licensed copy, subject to applicable law and store terms.

08. Consumer rights and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes applicable EEA and UK rights relating to digital content, quality, description, fitness for a purpose made known and accepted, and required updates.

We remain responsible for the app and for obligations imposed on us by law. Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

The app-specific intended-use information explains what the app is designed to do. It does not override an express description or guarantee, excuse a defect, or remove mandatory consumer protection.

09. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to explain new features or reflect changes in law. The effective date identifies the version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law, through an appropriate channel such as the store listing, update notes, or an in-app notice.

Changes will not retroactively remove rights associated with an existing purchase. Where law requires notice, consent, or an opportunity to end a contract, those requirements will be respected. You can save or print this page for your records.

10. Complaints and applicable law

Please send complaints to support@aetherhook.com so we can investigate and work toward a resolution. Include the app and enough information to identify the issue; do not send full payment-card details.

Applicable mandatory law governs your consumer rights. These terms do not require you to waive the protection of your country of habitual residence where it applies, use mandatory arbitration, or bring a consumer claim only in a foreign court. You retain access to courts, authorities, and dispute-resolution procedures available under applicable law.
